Young people often show a keen interest in art, especially in realistic art, and want to learn to draw and paint from an early age. Now ARA has classes suitable for children and teens(9 to 14yrs.) who would like to begin developing their artistic skills. Students are introduced to a variety of mediums and techniques through educational and fun projects. Exercises are kept simple enough to be fun and engaging, while actually advancing the young artist's skill. The Academy of Realist Art will be participating in this year's Junction Arts Festival by offering art activities for kids on September 6th and 7th. Activities will include portrait drawing, painting with pastels and watercolors. Best of all its FREE!

Instructor Diliana Popova has been teaching children and young adults for years. She has a warm, friendly manner that makes young people feel comfortable, and can get students excited about learning real art skills. Drop by to meet Diliana and create a work of art all your own!
